Spotted a double-decker Shinkansen, the Max Tanigawa!!
It’s pretty cold on the platform while I wait for my ride - the Hayabusa Shinkansen that will take me all the way to Hokkaido.
Tokyo Station is a railway station in Chiyoda, Tokyo, Japan. The original station is located in Chiyoda's Marunouchi business district near the Imperial Palace grounds. The newer Eastern extension is not far from the Ginza commercial district. Due to the large area covered by the station, it is divided into the Marunouchi and Yaesu sides in its directional signage. Tokyo station, built in 1914, is a central gateway for many trainlines and the famous Shinkansen 🚅 high speed trains. Its red brick facade was recently renovated and is just beautiful!
