We ate at Canton court, a Michelin rated restaurant known for its local delicacies. Taiwanese food is similar to Chinese food but seems lighter on the saltiness and sweetness giving it a very pleasant taste.
The yummy breakfast at the hotel. Asian buffets are the best given the breadth of both western and local foods.
The cafe is open from 6:30am to 10:30am.
We visited some friends at the popular and hip Eslite hotel.

Try the beef tongue!
Taiwanese delicacies on the 86th floor of Taipei 101. Great bird’s eye view of the city landscape.
Our friends ordered pork kidneys as a delicacy. It was actually really tasty.
