Pemberton Place, located in downtown Atlanta, just north of Centennial Olympic Park in the Luckie Marietta district, is a 20-acre plaza that is home to the Georgia Aquarium, the World of Coca-Cola, and the Center for Civil and Human Rights. Pemberton Place is named after John Pemberton, who was a pharmacist and invented the popular carbonated soft drink, Coca-Cola, just a few blocks away in 1886.
