Angry Orchard is a hard cider company owned by the Boston Beer Company. It makes hard cider using apples from its own 60-acre orchard in Walden, New York, nestled in the heart of the Hudson Valley.
The orchard offers both indoor and outdoor seating on a first-come, first-serve basis. Other than various draft, canned, and bottled cider products for purchase, cider tasting flights are also available with no additional booking required. Visitors can enjoy hard ciders with fresh food prepared from the in-house kitchen or from the food trucks onsite (only on Saturdays and Sundays). Special tours and orchard experiences can be booked in advanced.
The Hudson Valley also has a long cider making tradition. Before prohibition, cider apple orchards were common to find in the region. Cider has been made here for more than 200 years! Like many of the orchards in the area, Angry Orchard has a long history. It has been a farm since the 1700s and the first apple trees were planted here around 100 years ago.
