The Box Canyon Park is a nature viewing area known for the Box Canyon Falls. The falls is the culmination of Canyon Creek narrowing and spilling thousands of gallons a minute of water over sheer rock walls. At this spectacular geological formation, the 85-foot cascade of water plummets into a narrow quartzite canyon. It is truly a dramatic scene.
The park includes a visitor center, picnic spots, and multiple hiking trails. The park is open daily 8am to 8pm from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Check here for more details on opening hours.
