CN Tower

Things to do in Toronto | Ontario | Canada

The CN Tower is a 553.3 m-high concrete communications and observation tower located in the downtown core of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Built on the former Railway Lands, it was completed in 1976. Its name "CN" originally referred to Canadian National, the railway company that built the tower. Following the railway's decision to divest non-core freight railway assets prior to the company's privatization in 1995, it transferred the tower to the Canada Lands Company, a federal Crown corporation responsible for real estate development. Traveler Notes

CN Tower soared high into the sky and I was carried away with awe. The scenery that spread out in front of me was breathtaking. Since the weather was nice and the sky was clear, I could see Toronto's full landscape with lots of high skyscrapers. There was a section of floor that was made of glass which gave me a sense of vertigo and thrill. I recommend this place highly if you want to enjoy the wonderful scenery of Toronto from high above.
