Forrest Gump Hill, or Forrest Gump Point, is the iconic spot where Forrest Gump ends his run in the 1994 film, with views of nearby Monument Valley. When he reached the hill around mile marker 13 on U.S. 163, Forrest had run for three years, two months, 14 days, and 16 hours and reliazation all of a sudden struck. He figured out why he was running so much, and that it was something that his mama had told him, “Put the past behind you before you move on.” That was the hill where Forrest proclaimed to his followers that he was done running.
