Huangshan (“Yellow Mountain”) is probably the most famous mountain ranges in China (excluding Mount Everest in Tibet). It’s known for the picturesque landscape and interestingly shaped rocks and pines. You can take a cable car 🚠 to mid level and then clime from there. The hike from mid-level to top can still take 5-6 hours (round trip). You can also stay overnight on the mountain to split the hike into two days and get more time to appreciate the scenery. Sunrise and sunset hikes are popular at Huangshan too.
