Jungfraujoch (German: lit. "Jungfrau saddle") is a glacier saddle connecting two major 4000-meter peaks of the Bernese Alps: the Jungfrau and the Mönch. Just ten minutes from the Jungfraujoch railway station (the highest in Europe), the Jungfraujoch Plateau is the vantage platform with the view of the Mittelland up to the Vosges and the Black Forest on one side, and the Aletsch glacier bordered by four thousand meter peaks on the other side.
