After shooting all morning, between wrong buses and endless walks, to find the kinkaku-ji, we finally reached our goal! And to say that certainly does not go unnoticed! 😅
Kinkaku-ji, officially named Rokuon-ji (鹿苑寺, "Deer Garden Temple"), is a Zen Buddhist temple in Kyoto. Its Japanese name, 金閣寺, literally means "Temple of the Golden Pavilion" as the main pavilion is covered in a thick layer of gold leaf. It is the best known temple of Japan and one of the most popular attractions in Kyoto. It is designated as a National Special Historic Site, a National Special Landscape and is one of 17 locations making up the Historic Monuments of Ancient Kyoto which are World Heritage Sites.

Went to Kinkakuji in my rented kimono after the photoshoot :) Thankfully it wasn’t that difficult to navigate around and I survived wearing the geta :D
Nothing special. Just for experience.
