Little Paris is a cute little square tucked away in the quaint town of Hartbeespoort, just an hour drive from Johannesburg. The square is home to a deli (Pig a Deli), a clothing boutique (Seze Clothing), a small aquarium, and a few French styled eateries, most notably French Toast Koffie Kafee, a Parisian-themed cafe and restaurant shrouded in lush greenery.
Little Paris got its name because there is a miniature replica of the Eiffel Tower with a bridge covered in colorful “lover’s locks”. Locks can be purchased and engraved for an additional fee at the square. Visitors can walk across the little bridge and around the minature tower while enjoying the views of the lake.
Little Paris an ideal Instagram spot with its photographic appeals, or a perfect setting for a romantic weekend getaway. Admission is free except purchases made at shops and eateries.
