After PHF we drove through the Tunnel of Trees and made our usual stop to the beach in Good Hart. This time we went to see the ice on Lake Michigan. We have never seen the lake like this in the winter. It was quite a site to see and fun to go out as far as we did on the water (ice). The ice was very tick in most spots but got a little thin in a few spots. The water created some cool mini caves in the ice and where the ice met water there were small waves and you see the loose ice move with the waves. In the distance we notice some larger waves splash up against the ice and make tall splashes. Before we left the boys played at the playground.
