Wat Pho (the Temple of the Reclining Buddha) is a Buddhist temple complex in the Phra Nakhon District, Bangkok, Thailand. As one of the largest temple complexes in the city, it is most famous for the giant reclining Buddha that is 46 meters long and 15 meters tall, covered in gold leaf. The scale of the reclining Bhudda is truly impressive that it's often a challenge to capture the whole figure inside a photo. The image of the reclining Buddha represents the entry into Nirvana and the end of all reincarnations. It signifies the tranquility and absolute detachment from the desires of the world, a state obtained only upon the attainment of Nirvana.
