Things to do in Chiang Mai | Thailand

Built by King Phayu in 1345 to house the ashes of his father, Wat Phra Singh is one of the most important temples in Chiang Mai. The beautiful temple complex features gilded rooftops and golden chedis. Despite its ancient history and importance, Wat Phra Singh is a living and working temple and very much part of the local community with a monastery and school contained within the grounds.
