Picked kids up early from school for 5:15 flight on United to Denver.
Notes for next year:
1) check flights to Eagle
2) from home (2:00) to gate via WWS = 2 hours exactly. No traffic or lines at airport. Plenty of time to get flight.Arrived 7:30-ish local time. Collected bags and met our driver ( Eagle Vail Express) in a white suburban, drove by Bob, stocked with Popeyes and Arby’s for our 2 hour drive to Beaver Creek. Drive was smooth and clear. No weather or trafffic.
Stayed in Villa Montane #115. Perfect location. Steps to village and loved the ski valet right outside our door. Shared amenities (heated outdoor pool and hot tub) with Hyatt Residency Club (HRC).
Ate lunch at the base of Centennial lift. Fine. Doesn’t accept Epic pass for discount.
Renzo and Lilah skated. Couldn’t pull renzo away!
We ordered pizza to go and ate it around the outdoor fire next to the ice rink while Renzo and Lilah skated. Met Josh’s friend Riley.
Had Mac n cheese with beef chili on top :)
Ate dinner at home. One sheet pan chicken thighs, potatoes and brussel sprouts. Watched the Grammy’s.
Overnight snowfall…8” fresh powder! Silky smooth conditions. Awesome! More snowfall over the morning.
More sunshine, powder and amazing skiing!!
Skiing the Kids Adventure Zone in the Red Buffalo area. Favorite slopes: Jack Rabbit and Slanderous Sam
Eagle Vail Express car service. Great driver, hosts river rafting tours in Glenwood Canyon. Ron has contact: Jeremy Newman.
Again, no traffic to airport. Left Beaver Creek at 9:15 for 1:50 flight. Had over two hours at airport. Good amount of time to feel relaxed.
Arriving home 7-ish. United flight. Good time to arrive home! Excellent trip for everyone!
