Waiting for our flight to London. Way past our usual bedtime. We are ridiculously tired, especially after running from one terminal to another (with our backpacks) to try to make our connection. We did not make it. So, we are waiting for a 10 pm flight to London.
Waiting in the airport (again) for our next flight. Heathrow International Airport is the swankiest airport I have ever seen. High end shopping, lots of restaurants, and a caviar bar.
A lovely dinner at a local cafe. Our waiter was delightful and offered great recommendations.
What a charming town. Our B&B is quaint and just what we hoped for our first night in Le Puy.
After a very fast trip to the local sporting goods store, we replaced nearly all that was in the one piece of luggage that appears to be lost forever.
The luggage debacle was really getting us down, but now we are once again ready to start on the trail first thing tomorrow morning.
Although 99% of the mass and blessing Eason French, it was still an honor to attend.
P S. I was reminded of how much I appreciate the humble production of the weekly gathering at the Well.
La Grange Gite in Montbonnet.
The 2 of us had a loft sleeping space with 2 twin beds. Lovely building and warm hospitality although there was only one guest who spoke French. We are doing our best to listen and learn.
Stoping for a cold drink on our way to Saugues.
