It’s my last day in Copenhagen. I started off the day by packing and making sure all my stuff was together because I had an early flight. My first stop was to the Church of Our Savior. I went inside and admired the alter. The large organ was made of ornate woodwork and was displayed on the back wall. It continues to play all day. The tower for the church has the opportunity to walk along the top and all the way up however I opted not to do that. Next stop, was to the Black Diamond.
I walked to the Black Diamond from the church. The diamond got its name as it sits on the harbor edge and with the angle from the window panes, it reflects the water in diamond shapes. I then went inside and did a self tour looking at the old treasures and the rotunda. This is the attached to the old Danish Library. They still have old reading rooms operating which were cool to look at. I then toured Denmarks Jewish museum where I walked through from the 1800s until now. Unfortunately I forgot to take pictures.
After the museums, I met up with friends at a cafe! We then left for dinner. Dinner was at Reffen which I wish I had found sooner! I enjoyed a strawberry crepe from Crepe A La Carte. I went to dinner with friends and we got these African donuts with mango salsa as dip! Reffen is a great place for food! Overall Copenhagen was beautiful and people are so friendly!
