Bulguksa - the first stop on our LeCirt “Old Korea Thousand History Tour of Gyeongju from Busan” tour.
This was the first tour I signed up for during my trip to Korea. I love traveling alone but getting some more context and transportation to and from Busan and between each site was priceless. I also met some great people on this tour, notably my seat mate, Lisa, that really cemented how valuable mixing solo activities with group ones would be!

Woljeong Bridge - the second stop on our LeCirt “Old Korea Thousand History Tour of Gyeongju from Busan” tour.
Daereungwon Tomb Complex - the third stop on our LeCirt “Old Korea Thousand History Tour of Gyeongju from Busan” tour.
Lisa and I decided to pay the 3000 won to go into the museum inside Cheonmachong. It’s the only one of the tombs open to the public. The horse saddle features the cheonma from the stones leading into the complex.
Interestingly, we noticed nearly everything in the small museum were replicas. This can partially be attributed to looting by then Japanese during their occupation of Korea in the early 20th century.

Donggung Palace and Wolji Pond - the fourth and final stop on our LeCirt “Old Korea Thousand History Tour of Gyeongju from Busan” tour.
