Quick 3 day trip to HK. Local protests heightened during the weekend but were largely avoidable. Don't let it stop you from visiting this amazing city!

The YMCA is one of HK's best kept secrets! A great deal for clean & comfortable accomodations. Great location, next door to the famous, swanky Peninsula and sharing the same view. FYI, beds are firm. Great service!

Beautiful spot on the South side of HK island. The Pulse is home to restaurants and shops and there's a beautiful temple on one end. A busy spot on weekends and evenings.

Michelin starred local & fuss-free Dim Sum. Go early or you'll likely wait in line. There are several locations around town. The BBQ pork buns (not pictured) were unique as the dough was atypical but delicious!

These Taiwanese bubble coffee and milk teas are all the rage. Various brands are found on most corners of Kowloon. Tapioca pearls are made in house and sweetened with brown sugar.
