Day 30: 🇮🇩Bali, Indonesia 🇮🇩
Goodbye, the island of Java. Welcome to Bali. Mark and I took a 1 1/2 hour flight to Bali, while the kids teleported 😂. Mark then drove 1 1/2 hours to Ubod.
First impression of Ubud: a young crowd and a few young family with children. Many tourists, Europeans and some Americans. Lots of live music, but Ubod sleeps at around 11pm. It’s very touristy, with many restaurants that serve international cuisine. We rewards the kids by having a wood fired pizza. Finally, they had a real pizza, complete with bubbles on the crust with real mozarella cheese😂.
Day 31: 🇮🇩 Ubud, Bali, Indonesia 🇮🇩
Today is Nika’s day. We visited the Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary, a temple and a home to 1260 Balinese long tailed macaque monkeys. These monkeys of all sizes roam around freely in this sanctuary. The real reason why we traveled to Ubud.
Day 31: 🇮🇩Ubud, Indonesia. Island of Bali 🇮🇩
Nika’s day continues. She found a cat cafe in Bali, which is on her bucket list. There were Persian and Maine Coon cats in the cafe. Entrance fee 20,000 Indonesian Rupiahs =$1.33. Money well spent.
Day 31: 🇮🇩Ubud, Indonesia. Island of Bali.🇮🇩
Nika missed having tacos, and of course, touristy Ubud had tacos.😂 We also tried Balinese duck, fried and grilled. #worldtravelers #raisingcuriousminds #theworldisourclassroom #raisingfilipinos #worldcuisine
