Beautiful little cottage out in the woods. After a short time looking for it at night, the stay was worth it! Super cute location!
This rest stop was really best! You could see cars driving right on the beach!
We really enjoyed the night of camping here. E had plenty of other campers at this popular site. We were not able to see stars like we wanted and the beach was pretty dirty, but we made the most out of the experience and really enjoyed ourselves!
This was a really neat temple! Not only was it large and you could go pretty much anywhere inside the temple, but it had grass on the inside! The inner parts of the temple and the statues were exquisite. Overall, really enjoyed the temple!
We picked up a much larger teepee tent and it really made a big difference! We could easily stand up and had enough room to move about. It was super warm inside the tent and although the food took a bit to make, we ended up really enjoying the kabobs, outside, and bell peppers!
We got to see two temple areas and a really cool driving experience down the mountain. The first temple was a good 2.75mi hike into a pine first with the target pines in Japan. The smell of pine permeated the air. The cool, wet, and dampness caused by the misty rain only added to the ambience of the shrine.
The second location was a bit smaller, but we got to touch the three one trees that came from one seed in the middle of the temple. It was surprisingly soft to touch!
This was a really neat place! Lots of shops lined the street itself and some hotels and galleries that looked like little shrines were nestled into the street as well. We got to see a ton of temples right next to each other and turtles!!! We had some cool snacks like black vanilla ice cream and just enjoy our time among the many like temples along the way.
