Maeve had this as a reco in Google maps, such a good start to the trip! We sat on the patio eating and a chicken jumped on table and stole the egg out of my breakfast sandwich!
This is my favourite place of the day. Nic made the spontaneous decision to pull the bikes over to this little tucked away picnic bench with a rope swing attached to a tree. We took turns on the swing, nic pushed me for a bit. There was a barrier of rocks protecting us from waves so we went for a dip! There was a strong undertow and we had fun trying to swim against it.
Got bikes from our hotel and rode up the bike path along the coast. Stopped at a beach to watch some surfers before we got downpoured on! Nic loved the feeling of the rain. We ran to a covered picnic bench and chatted with a local man who told us not to go hiking because of the soft ground.
