We started our journey at 5:30 am. Mom was sleepy and West was still sleeping. Dad was “wired” and ready to rock and roll with his favorite thing heating in the oven…HOMEMADE BREAKFAST BURRITOS! We finished packing until our baby girl was ready to rise and shine. With sleepy eyes we hit the road at 6:30am. There is nothing like waking up before the world and heading out of town for a family road-trip.
First pit stop to stretch the legs, nurse and use the great outdoor restroom! Westlynn excited to give Dad a break from driving and see what it feels like behind the wheel!
So excited to finally get to see The Waugh’s and their new practice in Idaho! Beautiful town and practice. True is almost 2 now and looking SO big! What a great way to start our trip.
After we picked up our rental trailer in Meridian, Mom had to take Dad on his first Cheesecake Factory Experience. We killed time in the mall parking lot and then ventured inside to wait for our table. Westlynn made everyone smile and say “hi” with her bubbly personality and contagious smile. After a yummy meal we decided to make the evening easy and do some parklot camping! Mom and Dad shared a slice of reeces cheesecake in bed while Westlynn counted sheep. And she counted sheep ALL NIGHT LONG! Mom was extra excited but this since it was the first time she slept through the night. Fully rested and ready for day 2!
