The trip started out with a day’s visit to various parts of Beirut, from the pigeons rock to the blue museum and the famous ‘I Love Beirut sign’ to the old ruins of Baalbek
Day 2: We continued to the Jeita Grottoes, Harissa and then spent a night in Byblos where the daytime souk markets convert to one big outdoor party at night ( a must try). It’s a nice way to mingle with the locals.
Day 3: Was about relaxing by the beach at the Barracuda Beach resort and trying out the famous lemonade from Hilmi’s! I highly recommend. We capped the day off with a pub crawl with Joe, where we went to 3 bars (Fabrk, Radio City and Eclipse) and a nightclub ( (Bold Roof top). The pub crawl was a fun way to explore the ever bustling nightlife of Beirut.
Day 4: Started out with parasailing with Beirut Aqua Sports at the Movenpick hotel and was capped off with a walk in the board walk which had lots of locals sitting and enjoying the water and views.
Beirut is a fun place to getaway and I highly recommend.
