Checking out the mega retail and entertainment complex, American Dream, that just opened in New Jersey. It includes an indoor ski slope, a Nickelodeon park, an ice rink, a Dreamworks water park, and many retail store (to open later in 2020).

Courtyard by Marriott Lyndhurst
A standard 3-star business hotel. It’s comfortable overall. Few hotels in the area have a swimming pool so we didn’t have many choices.
Big Bowls Little Plates
A little Asian joint in Rutherford. Surprisingly good fusion ramen (short rib simmered in French onion soup).
Paisano's
A family feel Italian restaurant. Dishes were hit or miss but we enjoyed the vibe.

Great Vietnamese restaurant in Rutherford! Spacious and clean. Most importantly, the food tasted authentic!
