Lansdowne Park was the home base for the Games as well as the home of the Cultural Village.

The opening ceremonies took place in the museum and honestly it was the perfect location!
A little overcast but overall a nice (albeit far) walk to the track & field venue.
We ended a bit earlier on Friday so we walked over to Sparks Street to do a little shopping, exploring, and get dinner.

We walked along the Rideau Canal to go from Lansdowne to the University of Ottawa 🚶🌳
Time to shoot content at basketball and volleyball while my partner tapes ankles and hands out ice 🤪
Came to shoot some content at the cross-country race before needing to go to Lansdowne to prep for the closing ceremonies.
Some sights around the Cultural Village and some content from the first-ever Friendship Walk/Run to raise money for the athlete travel fund 🚶🫶
Such a phenomenal brunch! We went there for my partner’s birthday and they brought him a cute little dessert plate 🥰

This hike was tough but well worth the beautiful views of Ottawa and the Rideau River!
Did you even go to Ottawa if you didn’t at least walk by here (& take some photos)??
Back here again, this time to have dinner with some of the team. We were early so we walked around for a bit and then sat near the Ottawa sign while we waited for our reservation time.

Photo 2: don’t totally remember what this was but it was trout, some sort of veggie medley, roasted potatoes, and a really good sauce.
This was our second time going here for breakfast and the second time I had the Western Breakfast Sandwich because it was just that good 🤤 We also bought half a dozen freshly made bagels to take home with us.
Fun fact: a large coffee here is only $1!
On our last morning in Ottawa we rented some kayaks to go around Dows Lake and the Rideau Canal 🌊☀️
