The loop in Yurikamome Line is a perfect spot to see the Rainbow Bridge and the surrounding area
Tokyo Joypolis is an indoor amusement park in Odaiba. It offers many attractions that use 4D technology, VR and games. The all-day passport is great value for money and I recommend buying the tickets in advance to save money.
We tried many Japanese franchise attractions such as 進撃の巨人 (Attack on Titan), 貞子 (Sadako), 逆転裁判 (Ace Attorney). We also tried game/competition-based attractions like Storm G (we got 1st place!!) and Gekion coaster (indoor roller coaster + rhythm game).
Apart from their flagship attractions, waiting time was usually around 30 minutes even though we went on a Saturday, so it was really great for people who don’t like long queues like me 😆
After leaving Joypolis, we realized that the rain had stopped so we spent sometime enjoying the view
We went to Odaiba 1-chome shopping arcade, located just one floor above Joypolis. It’s filled with retro things from Showa and early Heisei Period. You can try retro games and shop nostalgic snacks and sweets at the Dagashiya. The Trick Art Museum is also located in this area.
Finally we reached the Takoyaki Museum. As the name suggested it housed many Takoyaki shops, each with their own specialties. We tried sauceless takoyaki which was yum 😋. We also tried matcha beer 😂 The seating area had a large window so you could enjoy the Rainbow Bridge and its surroundings while having your takoyaki 😆
