To reach the view point, one needs to hike up. We couldn’t find a parking spot close by so we gave up.
Hilltop winery with great views - we stopped here for wine tasting and a light lunch. It was quiet because it was a weekday. There were many bees 🐝 .
Got stopped by a super long freight train
Little cute village with a shop selling all kinds of stones. We bought a bag of “mud” stones for the little one. She was fascinated when the colorful stones revealed themselves after the mud was washed away in the filter tray.
A nice resort with updated common area and beautiful grounds but the rooms are outdated. Book the lakeside rooms if you can for a better view.
Pristine indoor tennis courts. As hotel guests, the indoor courts cost only $15 / hour (+ free ball machine!).
A trendy speakeasy restaurant and bar located near the city center. It took us a while to fine the entrance . The ambience inside is very cool.
Drinks were superb. Food looked promising on paper too but the taste under-delivered. It felt like the chef tried too hard to be creative by mixing different flavors that don’t usually go well together. The result was interesting but not delicious 😕.
A hole in the wall pasta shop!
Gorgeous campus.
The iconic rotunda is quite a sight both from near and far.
Got a tasty breakfast to go from this cute bakery.
