I’m back! It’s been a crazy two days! Sunday, we were originally supposed to fly to Dublin, however our flight was canceled. Due to this our professor and study tour coordinator arranged lunch and a tour for us. I got up and ready before heading to the train station to go into town. I arrived in Stockholm and walked toward the bay. My class and I met on the side, and started watching the sailboat racing. After watching sailboat racing for awhile, we went into this super fancy restaurant, Orangeriet. I got a limoncello, highly recommend, I now understand dads liking to it! I got a grilled chicken salad that was really good. After eating, we walked to city hall. The town of Stockholm, was celebrating the 100th anniversary of its renovation of the City Hall. The noble peace prize ceremony and banquet is held here. The second picture is in the gold room. The person is Queen Lachmala who is holding the city of Stockholm in her lap. To her left you can see the Statue of Liberty and the Eiffel Tower. The last picture is of my class on the stairs.
After lunch and city hall, my classmates and I decided to go to the paradox museum. There were lots of optical illusions that were pretty cool.
