A well-equipped kitchen for breakfast. Doesn’t this kitchen look like a photoshoot straight out of a cooking magazine?
Our Airbnb was a barn house with a huge backyard. The house itself was very charming but parts of it felt a bit too rustic (the floors and stairs squeak when you walk on them). After a big breakfast, we enjoyed playing and sunbathing in the backyard.
Found a little un-named waterfall and swimming hole along the Thorp Creek. The water was still a bit cold in June otherwise we were very tempted to jump in.
A pretty easy hiking trail that leads to a picturesque lake.
A home-made gourmet dinner is the perfect ending to a long and active day.
A local farm where we got some fresh produce and got to pet the baby animals too.
Stumbled upon this restaurant in Beacon when stopped for a coffee break on our drive back. It’s a popular spot among the locals so would usually require a reservation. We were there really early (like 5pm) so they accommodated us and gave us a cute table by the window.
