Flew from Nanjing and arrived in Nha Trang around 1am. Our large group eventually got checked in at the hotel and then I decided to go for a walk with Khaled, Nadine and Elsa and found this place in a random side street. This was our first taste of Vietnamese food and it was love at first bite!
The view from the balcony of the room I shared with my dear friend, Chloe.
Our first day there and our only one free from the group. We looked up some waterfalls and walks to do in the area and we were pleasantly surprised by this absolute gem of a spot!
After we’d had some fun at the waterfalls, we made our way down to the beach for more swimming and a walk to the bar area to check out the nightlife. We loved it so much it became our nightly routine!
I wish we could’ve gone to actually see this cathedral, but of course, with tours they have to keep moving.
After our drive-by cathedral viewing, we got to this beautiful place where we were taken around to see some animals and then to enjoy the water and watch a short performance.
After a long day of being dragged to different shops and markets with the tour group, we got the afternoon and evening off which we pretty much spent searching for places to eat and drink cocktails! And, same as every other night, we ended up in Z Club🙈
While everyone else was shopping, a handful of us found this tiny coffee shop and bought some things to nurse our hangovers. The irony of their choice of words was not lost on us.
This was the first temple I’d ever visited (despite having lived in China for 5 months at this point).
One last photo from a room I barely used...
